Pilgaard Design Studio is a Danish industrial design studio located in Aalborg Vestby, founded in 2018 by Esben Pilgaard Jørgensen. We offer comprehensive design solutions ranging from idea and concept development to finished product and delivery. Our approach to design is not only about aesthetics and functionality, but also about creating solutions that actively contribute to a sustainable future.

Today, sustainability, biodiversity, and climate responsibility are the key driving forces behind all our designs. Esben Pilgaard Jørgensen, the founder of Pilgaard Design Studio, has deep roots in craft traditions. Raised in a blacksmith family in Løkken, North Jutland, he has been close to the craft from an early age. This background, combined with studies in Industrial Design at Aalborg University, has given him a unique understanding of both traditional craftsmanship and modern design principles.

In 2022, Esben sold his furniture brand to focus fully on Pilgaard Design Studio and the opportunities in creating design solutions centered on sustainability and climate responsibility. Today, Esben and his team work dedicatedly to develop products that are both aesthetically appealing and environmentally responsible, helping to shape a better future for us all.
