Located in the outer dune row in Løkken, right next to the windswept coastline, we designed and produced a series of facade signs for North Shore Surf.

The signs are crafted in corten steel, chosen for its raw character and ability to age beautifully in the harsh coastal climate. Over time, the material develops a natural patina that reflects the surrounding landscape of sand, wind and saltwater - creating a strong connection between the building and its environment.

Designed for place
The design balances clarity and character. The warm, weathered steel contrasts with the building facade while maintaining a calm and confident presence. The signage is designed to feel both robust and authentic - fitting naturally into the rugged atmosphere of the North Sea coast.

A hidden detail
As a subtle and personal touch, a hidden greeting has been integrated beneath one of the signs. It’s a small detail that most visitors will never notice, but it adds an extra layer of story and personality to the project.
